The "world's longest" bus trip will take 56 days to cross Europe

Indian shipping company Adventures Overland is about to launch what is being touted as "the world's longest bus trip." Departing in August, the 56-day journey, available for up to 30 passengers, will travel through 22 countries, taking travelers from Turkey's largest city, through the Balkans, Eastern Europe, Scandinavia and Western Europe, to the capital of the United Kingdom. A ferry crossing in the Gulf of Finland, a visit to the North Cape, the northernmost point of continental Europe, and a cruise along the Norwegian fjords. These are the highlights of the 12,000-kilometer journey.
